Wherever you turn, whatever you see, whatever you touch – God’s presence is there. It is God’s handiwork. Though we do not think of God with hands and face, just as God -shaped Adam in perfect form [15:29] , so God has shaped everything on earth [55:7]. It is our work and our responsibility to preserve what God has shaped. When something becomes misshapen, deformed, and ruined – the landscape, the water, the skies and the air – the people who live on the land, drink the water and breathe the air are also deformed, and we have allowed what God has done to be undone.
