On Tuesday, July 7, immediately following the 250th anniversary of the United States’ founding and four months to the day before the midterm elections, hundreds of faith leaders across the country are joining together for a national day of action to “Protect Our Vote,” calling on all local, state, and federal elected officials, especially those who help administer elections and certify the results, to sign the Faith in Us “Pledge to Protect Our Freedom to Vote” and commit to the following:

  • Abide by the US Constitution and state election laws,
  • Refuse to comply with any unlawful Executive Orders or data requests from the Department of Justice that seek to restrict voting, and
  • Pledge to faithfully play their role to certify and/or seat the rightfully elected winners of elections this November, regardless of their party affiliation.

Join Texas clergy and faith leaders July 7th at 10am in San Antonio, Texas. We will assemble in the Main Plaza (N Main Ave and Dolorosa St. between City Council Chambers and San Fernando Cathedral).
