Texas Impact is delighted to welcome four summer interns for 2019!

 

They join Noah Westfall, our Presbyterian Young Adult Volunteer (YAV), who is finishing his year of service with us at the end of July.

Sarah Cruz is a current graduate student at the LBJ School in the Global Policy Studies Program. She grew up in Weslaco, Texas and was raised as a Pentecostal. She will be working on immigration and border issues.

Walton-Gray Martin is a junior at the University of Texas currently studying journalism and is from Friendswood, Texas and grew up in the Methodist Church. Over the summer he will be communicating with congressional offices to organize events and constituent meetings.

Evan Skinner is a political science student at Purdue University, and hails from Fort Worth, Texas. He attends an ELCA Lutheran Church and this summer he will be working on membership development.

Henry Brown is a student at Carleton College in Minnesota but grew up in Austin. He is a member of PCUSA and during his internship will be focusing on communications.
