Creation Care
Over the past quarter-century, a growing number of U.S. faith communities have embraced “creation care” or “environmental stewardship” as an essential component of their ministries. Congregations have installed solar panels, changed lightbulbs, eliminated styrofoam, and started compost bins. Their members have chosen electric cars, insulated their homes, and collected rainwater. As more faith groups seek to care for God’s creation, there are increasing opportunities for local partnerships and innovative projects.
