JOIN A TEAM
Texas is a big place, and it takes a lot of faithful advocates to keep the arc bending toward justice! Texas Impact team members work with our board and staff to meet with legislators, plan events, write letters, make calls, and more.
LEGISLATIVE ENGAGEMENT GROUPS
Geographically based teams whose members work together to establish relationships with legislative offices and serve as connectors between legislator and Texas Impact, during the legislative session and throughout the year. If there’s already a LEG in your area, you’ll be added to the crew; if there’s no LEG currently in your area, we’ll help you recruit team members. LEG members participate in weekly briefings with Texas Impact lobbyists during the legislative session.
RAPID RESPONSE NETWORK
Members of Scott’s Rapid Response Network agree to receive frequent, time-sensitive requests for action during the legislative session, including texts, calls, and emails. Rapid Responders agree to take timely action in response to requests whenever possible, and to report back to Scott on their conversations.
