On Wednesday morning, we probably won't know who the next President of the United States is going to be. We will be in a liminal space, and many of us could feel...antsy.
But we'll still be a community, and our neighbors will still be our neighbors. While we can't all promise to be delighted with the outcomes of the election, we can definitely commit to moving forward together with civility and compassion.
To get off on the right foot, Texas Impact is offering a morning of "Post-Election Sanctuary"—a time for reflection and re-grounding in our shared values of love and justice.
Starting at 9AM, we'll livestream San Antonio's Every Day in SA: Civility, Compassion, and Community featuring San Antonio's First Lady Erika Prosper along with faith and community leaders. At 10AM, we'll hear from Houston and Dallas faith leaders, and at 11:30 we'll wind up with thoughts from Texas Impact staff.
