Order "Feeding Texas Kids with the Summer Food Service Program" Toolkit for Faith Communities

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides funding for local organizations to offer nutritious meals and healthy activity for children during the summer months. Faith communities can play an important role in ensuring that Texas kids get the nutritious food and physical activity they need by providing sites for SFSP programs and volunteers to serve at existing sites. SFSP can be integrated into your congregation's existing summer youth programming. Congregations can participate all summer long, or just for a week or two.

Texas Impact's new toolkit "Feeding Texas Kids with the Summer Food Service Program" gives you step-by-step information on the many different ways you can get involved with SFSP as a faith community.
