Today, the US Senate approved reauthorization of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) to millions more low‐income, uninsured children across the country. The bill will now go to a conference committee to reconcile differences between the House and Senate versions.
Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison voted for the reauthorization while Senator John Cornyn voted against.
