Cover Texas Now Advocacy Day 2011

Texas Impact is part of Cover Texas Now, a coalition of consumer and Faith-based organizations that desire to see the state of Texas implement a sustainable health care system and provide quality affordable health coverage to its citizens.

Cover Texas Now invites you, and your family, friends, and colleagues to join us at the Capitol in Austin to talk to legislators about the importance of protecting health coverage and doing all they can to Cover Texans Now!

This all-day training and event will give you the oppotunity to get educated and talk with your elected officials about the issues that concern you.

The Advocacy Day will include:

• Speakers

• Training on how to talk to your legislator

• Scheduled lobby visits

• Press conference
